 Coco Dry: I like that you noted missed opportunities for companies to be using Pinterest. It's a platform I don't often think about when discussing socials but you're totally right that these fashion folks are missing a huge opportunity to leverage the platform!


Julia Hunter: Your post was so easy to read and well-organized! Your suggestion that Pigment should be utilizing TikTok and potentially TikTok shop makes a lot of sense. It seems that a new product is going viral on TikTok every week and it can blow up small brands and drive a lot of business their way.

Jared Spurlock: I too find it interesting that many businesses seem to not have a strong presence on X. My suspicion is that REI has left the platform due to ethical reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if that continues to be a trend.


Austin Zhang: I think Duolingo is such an interesting study in the power of a cohesive and clear social media "vibe" for lack of a better term. They are always blowing up for something or other.


Colby Parry: Great observation of business size correlating with social media presence. I've worked for small companies myself that struggled to keep up with social media but once they made it a priority saw some really results.
