Week 11 Part A: Using AI, Social Influencers, LinkedIn, Conversation based Social Media and more
This week, I chose to research LinkedIn and explore how it could be used to expand the marketing power of my hypothetical business. I have used LinkedIn to look for jobs in the past but LinkedIn is not just a platform for job hunting; it’s a powerful tool for business-to-business networking, personal branding, and community engagement. This is the mindset I went in with for my exploration of LinkedIn this week instead of looking at it through a prospective employees eyes. Given that A Life Worth Living would partner with healthcare providers, community organizations, and wellness centers, LinkedIn is a perfect match for growing my professional network and reaching new referral sources.
Many brands have successfully used LinkedIn to boost their credibility, connect with key industry professionals, and share valuable content. For example, wellness companies often create LinkedIn pages to highlight their services, post blog articles, announce upcoming events, and showcase testimonials. They also join professional groups to participate in discussions related to healthcare, wellness, and therapy innovations. By actively engaging in these groups, businesses can demonstrate expertise, offer helpful advice, and build relationships that lead to partnerships or client referrals.
I could create a strong LinkedIn company page for A Life Worth Living where I share some of the same things from my email newsletter plus more:
Updates about events like "Mindful Adventure Day"
Announcements about new services like my virtual therapy sessions
Articles or tips related to recreational therapy and holistic wellness
Success stories and client testimonials
Additionally, by joining groups related to therapeutic recreation, mental health support, and community wellness, I can stay current with industry trends and create meaningful connections. By consistently posting and engaging with my audience, I can establish A Life Worth Living as a leader in holistic recreational therapy and open new doors for collaborations and client growth.
LinkedIn offers a professional space where I could expand A Life Worth Living's reach, not just to potential clients but also to healthcare providers and organizations that align with my mission. As I continue to grow, LinkedIn will play an important role in building credibility, nurturing relationships, and promoting the work I do to help people live healthier, fuller lives.
